Jewelry Care

Most of our pieces are made of Stainless Steel and Gold Plated.
Stainless Steel is a metal of high purity, resistant, hypoallergenic and with great hardness and therefore durability. Perfect for everyday use. It does not stain or rust with water.

Thanks to its highly resistant properties, caring for Stainless Steel jewelry is a very simple process and it will not be something you should worry about.

You can wash your hands and shower with Stainless Steel jewelry, since one of the characteristics is its resistance to water. Even so, like any material, it is not infallible, so you should follow the following recommendations:

• After the bath, be sure to remove the shower gel and dry the pieces.

You can do exercises with Stainless Steel jewelry. Even so, sweat can dull the shine, so you should follow the following recommendations:

• Finishing your routine, wipe off the sweat and dry each piece.

You can enter a pool or the sea with Stainless Steel jewelry. But keep in mind that swimming pools normally have chlorine and seawater has salt, both are elements that in the long term can affect the golden color of the pieces.

That being said, you can use your pieces without worry by following the recommendations below:

• Finishing the activity, clean very well and dry the pieces of jewelry.

What you should do:

• Store your jewelry separately to prevent scratching. The best place is in a jewelry organizer.

• Clean with a soft cloth, preferably Microfiber.

For quick cleaning, you can use a soft or microfiber cloth.

For a Deep Clean, the easiest way to clean your Stainless Steel jewelry is to use a little warm soapy water. Remember to use a mild or neutral PH soap. Avoid antibacterial soaps.

How to do a deep cleaning of your jewelry:

• Submerge Stainless Steel jewelry in a container containing a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water and let it rest for a few minutes.

• With a soft or microfiber cloth, rub the jewelry. For hard-to-reach areas, such as groove or engravings, you can use a non-use toothbrush with soft bristles.

• Once you have thoroughly cleaned your jewel, make sure you have dried the piece with another cloth without leaving traces of soap or water.

Gold Plated is a gold coating applied to a base metal (brass, copper, etc.) or even to silver.

• Do not do sports activities with the jewelry or when you are going to sweat a lot. The jewelry is not suitable for going to the gym or activities such as yoga, gymnastics or swimming. Using them in the sea can damage your clothes much more.

• Avoid contact of the jewel with cosmetic, chemical, acid, cleaning products, soaps, chlorine or anything that damages its color: lacquers, perfumes, shampoos, etc. You shouldn't bathe with them.

• However, it must be taken into account that the PH of your skin itself can alter the color of your jewelry.

Many of our pieces are made entirely by hand and require delicate handling.
